    but Zoanthids
    Yuma and Ricordia shrooms
    Yellow polyps
    Clove polyps
    Xenia
    Green Star polyps
    Toadstool leathers
    Finger leathers
    Brain corals
    bubble coral
    torch corals

    are all beautiful IMO
and all suitable for beginners with reef tanks - providing adequate water quality and adequate lighting is provided

Nice list! Thank you Steve. I will personally take this in consideration since I am very new to corals, and I am looking for easy to keep corals to first learn from.

i wouldnt exactly recommend yellow polyps for a beginner... well not always at least. Something strange happens to them sometimes in which they just start closing one by one by one until they're all closed and they never really open up again IME (in my experience)

Yeah I have had the same problem. I had a colon of over 100 with new buds popping out all the time. Then in about a weeks time they all closed up died and now I only have two. This has happened to some freinds of mine too. Kinda wierd. lol

As for the coral, the list made is a great selection! Pagoda cups are a good choice aswell.
