There nice power head I wish I had that much $ or I would just get 2 of them and that's the reason I think I'm goin to need a hydor 3 to have the xtra flow

 

yea i think i'm going to stick with softies for a while, i think i want to finnish my finnish stocking and get some corals before i get any new equipment. Then i'll look getting into the mp 20, i think it's like $250 or something like that and that's how much the skimmer was, expensive powerhead but i think it will be really neat, i would like to see some real waves in my tank

 

Yea 250 for a power head I just can't bring my self to buy something like that I really don't even want to spend that much for the skimmer or a light but I guess I'm just being a tight ***

 

haha one thing that everyone says about this hobby is you do not want to skimp on lights or skimmer, the most important parts

 

Oh yea I know that's why I'm just goin to get that skimmer and as for a light that's where I'm stuck at I don't know if a 4 or 6 bulb fixture

 

do which one you can afford. like the others said, if you have a 4 bulb you'll be ok with sps, just have to place them higher up, with a 6 anywhere

 

Looks like ill just be getin a 4 bulb than I just want to have any kind of coral and ill put them where they need to be I just can't remember what kind is in what family

 

yea i like the fact of having whatever coral i want. I don't know much about corals, but it's just good knowing that if you see something that you have to have, you can have it, so long theres enough flow

 

Yea that's where I want to be at I just don't know how much flow they need I do know that hydor 1s are 400 gph and hydor 3s are like 800 or something close to it

 

yea i'm not sure either, post a thread and i'm sure someone will give you an answer
