I have a large Fuzzy Mushroom that is missing in action. Not just missing but completely gone. Something ate it I assume. The only possibilities are a choclate serpent star or a peppermint shrimp. Which would do this?

Could also be that it has moved looking for a better spot. Keep looking around.

is a chocolate serpent star the same as a chocolate chip sea star?

I know the chocolate chips aren't reef safe... so that one is my guess.

but I agree w/Luna that it probably moved out of sight. Have had it happen with shrooms myself more than once.

It is not a chocolate chip and I just redone most of the rock and it is gone.
