I just did a quick DIY using some sheet aluminum and 20 1w eBay LEDs and controller. 10 cool whites and 10 royal blue. Looking to take a few whites out and add some blue and greens. Other than tidying the assembly up and making it nicer looking. I'm curious to what some of you guys think about it and it's functionality for corals. I'm new in this hobby and still much to learn. Total cost was around 30 bucks btw.

Not the best spectrum or leds but will grow corals.

which led combo would you recommend? They are easy to just plug and play different bulbs

For beginners it ok. For future you will need build a full spectrum. 450 and 6700k just a base with no color in my exp. If you want to keep corals grow and color 1st thing 400-430nm light need to be installed

Have you taken a look at the 50w 50/50 leds? I know a guy on a local forum of mine uses 2 over a 4 foot long tank and it lights up his tank really well and he's getting some really good growth.
