I bought the same light off ebay from a hombby. So far i have had no problems and love the light i have had it for a little over a month now. I have herd the bulbs are cheap so you will probly have to change them sooner than a quality bulb but for the price you cant beat it.

lol.. the unit is from Odyssea. Check your LFS for price comparison and say you saw it online for 299 with free shipping (after they tell you the price). They go for 299-349 depending on the mark up >>> SAVE MONEY OFF SHIPPING!

OH, I've heard they are good units if you want to run PC and not t5.

I bought the odyssea lighting 260 watts PC off ebay.. And really like them for the price.
55 gal tank, But my corals don't demand much..
Later I can use these on another tank and upgrade to T5, if need be..
$$$ is the thing with me.. And can't have alot of HEAT ....
I would go with what I was going to keep in the tank.. There demands, And what you may want to keep in the future.. And O yes.. the $$$ part !!!

Hey missionsix, thanks for all the help in getting me started in saltwater..

    Later, Larry

I bought mine form the same guy 2 1/2 yrs ago and still going strong(knocking on wood). Great price and good shipping, only negative comment that I have is that he has poor customer service AFTER the sale is done. Luna

it's the same lights that aquatraders sell. I'm a fan of aquatraders, they "do" take care of issues and each time I call to place an order or request information - i have had someone who speaks english as their primary language every time.

i have a t5 setup from aquatraders and I sent off for the 36" MH setup on thursday of last week.
