This has just got me confused, looks really cool, but im just not sure what to make of it.

This is the definition of simplicity i think.

 

I checked that out this morning as well. Pretty interesting idea. I was under the impression that indo elegance liked higher nutrients, but that seems to be doing well so far.

 

I wonder what it would take to do a single sps tank like this...

 

I'd just do a RedPlanet.

 

I'd thought about that before. Like was said in the article, it just has to be slow growing so it's not consuming massive amounts of calcium. Otherwise it gets complicated again.

I'd like to do a single SPS colony in the middle of a larger cube and only have one PAR38 for lighting. Leave all the edges, corners and walls dark for less algae.

 

Different, but not my thing.

 

I like it. Its a cool idea.

 

Interesting concept...

 

I wonder how a zero edge would work. Probably couldn't generate enough flow for sps without disturbing the edge, but boy would that look cool.
