    baffles help to keep what you have in there from being moved around by the water flow, as for the plumbing that is what you prefer to use.

    I have not set one up since I have restarted this time, a friend of mine has one made from a 10 gal tank with a CPR overflow, but he is using a Fluval 402 for the return pump.

    When I get some things taken care of here I am thinking of getting a 20 gal tank and set up a large refugium for my 55 gal tank.

    Most likely flexible tubing, It will give me the most flexibility to move and adjust the return line so that every one will be happy in the tank.

    does it matter which bulkhead u use for the intake and return.

    i've been using silicon to fix the leaks in my refuge now I have like 3 more leaks and I've used the whole bottle of silicon for aquariums. That can't be right. I just added some more for the 3 leaks.
