The best way I have found to seal leake in arcylic is to go to your local glass shop and ask for some acrylic slovent, the same stuff you used to join the refuge together the first time. However, get the thickest stuff they have. Remove the refuge and let it dry good. Then just use the thick solvent to fill the gaps in the seams. You may have to work from the outside of the seam (i.e. outside of the box) and let it flow inwards as opposed to working from the inside corners. Let the product cure well and check for leaks again. The thicker solvent works well for filling in small gaps, etc. when working with acrylic. Hope this is of some help.

It will give the adhesive time to dry all the way through and reduce the Chance of leak's.
How long di you let the glue dry the first you put it together?

the cement or silicon sealent. I let the cement dry for like 1 day. I let the silicon dry for 2 days the first time i used it. Then after I just waited 1 day for it to dry and it still leaked.

There was 1 more leak so I put some silicone only where the leak was. Do I have to wait 48 hrs. for it to work for only that little application of it. Or can I just get by with 24 hrs.
