Hey Everyone- I've been thinking about adding two MP40's or MP20 Ecotech Vortech Pumps to my 120. Do you think I should go with the 40's or the 20's.

Anyone have a 120 and run these?

Last time I was at a fellow reefers house he had one single MP40 in a 90, I believe and it tossed the tank around... He had no other power heads in the tank. If you can afford two of the big boys I would!!!

Good luck and happy wave making!

I have the mp40 on my 120. Alone it is not enough, I have two koralia 3's on the other side pushing back. I do not have it turned to full blast. If I do the side of the tank its on gets blasted, but the other side doesn't get much. Also turned up all the way it is a little too loud for my liking. It creates a nice WIDE flow (about triple the koralia's). If you get the MP40, you can always dial it down, also if you get another one then you can hook them up with the wireless wave drivers. The mp20 Is too small for that size tank. I am going to get another mp40 soon as the finances allow. If I knew I was going to buy another one, i might have gone with 4 tunze 6055's. But I do like the vortech alot.
