    Mulder, I've seen you hopping around the forum debating on what to do for LEDS for your 65gallon. Are you on a budget? Is there specific looks you want in a fixture? Maybe I could offer some options if you tell me your requirements. There's nothing wrong with ecoxotic products, but I just dont think you are going to get the penetration you need on a 24 inch deep tank. A DIY kit is going to be the most cost effective.

    Check out my tank on marineengineers.com on thpanoram pro lit tank my tank is a fish only system but its 30" deep and I'm only running two pro modules to get that brightness I'm waiting to get par values in them just curios but I wouldn't rule them out each module is only $89

    the new Panorama 24" with 5 stock modules got 240 par at 24" under water.

    It's a number thats floating around from a test that ecoxotic did over a tank at MACNA. I have no idea what kind of coverage it had though.

    Heck, 240 par is great. The Radion got about 100 or lower at 24", in most cases.

    Yeah, I'm not sure on the actual coverage. I know the test was done at Macna...there is a picture somewhere, that was taken of the apogee meter with that reading. Can't remember where I saw it.

    My tank with two moduels gets great coverage I was shocked on what the two models did for it
