    Planning on upgrading my lighting, and still struggling to meet my end.
    I saw this in my LFS
    :: Neptune Aquatics

    Its a led lighting by ecoxotic, but I cant find this product on their website.
    but in the LFS the product came in ecoxotic box. But anyway, do you think $380 is a good price? and also what do you guys think of the lighting?
    will this support hard corals, and clams? Will this also make my tank more shimmer with more rich blue color?

    Kevin Kohen uses an ecoexotic fixture on his smaller tank in his office when we took the tour, he was growing softies and LPS in it... from what I saw. Fosters sells them to, except with a mount on the tank. :p alot more then the hanging version.

    heres a picture of his tank that I took from the tour:

    Yes, it may be new. Depending on the size of the tank you could probably use their modules. I have 2 on my 55 gal. along with 2 T5s. To go modules alone I would have to with 4. On my 14 gal. Biocube I have one module and one stunner and it is plenty. This will give you an idea.

    Yes, I removed everything from the canopy. The modules; Ecoxotic Panorama LED Module are $100 and 2 will really light up a 29 gal. Their Panorama, whish is slightly larger than the retro is about $650, so the retro is alright. The retro is giving you 36 LEDs and the 2 modules give 24 for 1/2 the price. The Panorama gives 60 LEDs. Choices, choices.

    haha$ 650 might be overkill for me. And I was thinking even $380 might be overkill for me.. Do you think if I replace just the regular PC bulb for 2 Panaroma lighting, it will support my corals? maybe better?
