    The type of egg depends on what you have in your tank of course...

    Whoooa.. If that was from one snail I give them credit. Dropped that many eggs & can still crawl.. lol... Baby snail are cool.. Amazing how much grip they have due to water current & the laws of gravity...

    Cool! Good info as I I found a much smaller patch on the back glass of our tank last night.

    Matter's not what they are from as they will become free fresh fish/coral food .

    +1 I have only had snail eggs hatch in a refugium and then, only the cerith snail babies survive (probably because of feeding requirements of other snail babies). In a main tank, the eggs are always eaten.

    I have the same thing in my tank right now and I seen a turbo snail laying the eggs .Sorry about the pics and the scratch you see is the overflow box not the glass . Oh and what are those white dots , they look like little white worms curled up on the back wall of my tank .

    I only saw eggs being released (looked like) in the water column before but we had hundreds of baby snails crawling up the tank when lights go out. Never had algae issues with all those babies.
