Eel is diggin caves in sand under LR

right on. he is throwing some sand on my zoa colony. will this stress them out at all. They look ok, i just keep blasting the sand off ever couple of days with a turkey baster???

 

my eel did this with no ill affects ot anything. just blow the zoas off or move them. easy as that.

 

i know it doesnt have anything to do with digging , but mght be a good idea to figure out what type of eel you actually have. could become important.

Is this a reef tank? I have an engineer goby that moves a lot of sand. Eels will eat small fish and may cause a nitrate spike if they move a lot of sand.

i just found out it was an engineer goby??? sure looks like an eel. i was looking at a different thread and saw a picture of him>>>>> thanks guys
