first of all: this will be a TEMPORARY 29g tank with one snowflake eel. Due to recent events he needs his own tank. Once we upgrade the 55 to a 125 all fish and coral will go into the 125 and the eel with then be moved into the 55g. So please do not tell me this tank is too small, it is not perminant. :)
With that out of the way...off to the fun part!!! PICTURES!!!

haha the 125 wont be for little while. when we find a perminant residence because moving a 125 will be an impossible task.
for the eel tank filtration: we have a modified seaclone skimmer. I lengthened a couple parts and moved a couple things to get it to work more efficiently. we are open to upgrading that if it doesn't keep up with the eel. We've just got a big ol HOB (i.e. penguin) that im going to do half carbon/foam and a makeshift refugium on the other side, with submersible LEDs.

so just found this picture and i really want to do it. i was looking for interesting ways to incorporate pvc into the rockwork...found this and got really excited. any thoughts? maybe put some into the rockworks instead of pvc? make it look like a shipwreck kind of?

Those vases are fantastic. Definitely beats PVC and coralline would grow all over them.

those look like ceramic pots, vases..(Not glass..but really not knowing)I would say garage sale stuff..nothing from china(too much lead etc in their process)...but ol 'home grown stuff that people made in high school, or hobbyist...little to no glaze on them...I'm sure you can find them..and its an adventure!!
broken would be ok if ya just roughed up the edges? ...sounds like fun to me...and a GREAT idea...I love the abby-normal.. LOL...jmo....just wondering about the cure time? After all, it is what would be in the ocean floor..right? cool.
