    Im so upset. I really didn't think he'd be able to fit. He never attempted to jump in the 55 and that had a lot more uncovered space. Was going to get mesh this weekend to cover it anyway. :( but its too late now & its all my fault how stupid I was not to do that before

    Agreed. For my fw tank, i had a peacock eel and a powerhead with an opening. I doubted he could fit...but he made it in anyways.

    With eels, if you think there is even a remote chance of it happenin, it will usually happen;(

    I lost my eel due to jumping as well. He jumped out a hole thats no bigger then a straw. Dont know how it was possible but he did it. I woke up in the morning and saw him hanging out of my husky puppys mouth.....:-[
