eels , how much to feed them

ive got a little snowflake hes like eh 5-6" long i get the feeling he'd eat till he died >,< im currently feeding him 2 Krill a day one in the morning and one at night is this too much ?

 

Yeah thats way too much once a week is perfect. I would feed mine once a week unless he came out looking for food. He would catch pieces of mysis during normal feeding too.

 

I agree I fed mine about twice a week. It was very happy and grew fast.

I also read quite a few studies online while researching before my buy. From the contents of wild snowflakes stomach's, they found that they rarely had food fresher than a few days old in them.

 

yea , well i didnt buy this thing and i was not planning on feedin it either >,<

 

lol is this the hitchhiker I remember reading about? Why not take it to the LFS for trade?

 

naw , my little brother bought him i woke up one morning and bam there he was and bam schools back in sesion >,<

 

supose its what i had comming though , i told him if he didnt fill that tank i was gonna sell it lol
