Eels

Well, I lost my banded moray today. Went home on lunch and found him laying on the floor. I had him for just over a year and he was probably 14 inches or so long.

I read before buying it that they were pretty good at escaping so I knew there was always a chance. I had about 1.5 x 1 inch hole in each back corner of the cover and really thought he wouldn't be squeezing his way out of them.

At the cost of his life he sure did prove me wrong. I feel pretty bad, that's a bad way to go.

 

I know the feeling. I have found a couple of jumpers in my tank experience. I try to think of it as forced change. Now you can pick out something else you have always wanted.
