    i used something like this seems to work fine in letting light threw
    friend works in installing windows and just gave me a whole roll i figured hey if it works it works if it dont well i go buy bird netting or something

    Enough to go on top of a 29 gallon if not I can get some bird net from hd or Lowe's

    That's a no go from brs right now. It's not exactly worth the 15 dollar when I can get 1/4 inch bird net like the video also recommend
    I mean I have the money I just find it pointless to buy that and nothing else. When at hd or Lowe's I can get the black version of it for same price

    bro I have plenty of that but I chose not to use it because that stuff is like a fish net, and the BRS is smooth. I have a feeling a fish jumps in the bird netting, its staying there. Not positive, but I spent the cash on the good stuff.

    Find another member that needs it and split the costs. IMO

    Nah ill just buy a roll from brs and have it on hand for a future build its only 15 I'm just being impatient lol

    what about a piece of Plexiglas as a cover? we got it at lowe's cut to the exact dimensions needed... other than the cost I guess I think it works best...

    Plexiglass will block some light. Especially when it's covered in salt.

    I actually prefer the black over the clear. Looks much better. And will not block light. I use have both on two different tanks. The clear does not allow any more light through.
