Eggs? Micro-algae

    Got my reefcleaners.org package in... looks like possibly the snails have laid eggs. Also got some micro-algae I need ID.

    Here is a pic of the "eggs":

    The eggs are nerite eggs. No idea on the algae.

    I Have those same white eggs!! I started a thread on wondering what they were and no one really responded. I have dozens of them on the glass. If you look under them (I look through the glass) There are dozens and dozens of very very small orange eggs contained in the white spot! I started getting these everywhere and had no idea what they were. The only things in my tank are clowns and snails and I knew they weren't clown eggs.

    and it happened a couple weeks after my reefcleaners package too.

    Thats what I figured on the nerite eggs... yeah just got my order in a couple days ago. Thats neat.

    Maybe john will chime in on the microalgae.... if its good, which I assume it is, I will keep it. I am trying to get it to grow in my fuge now

    Can you take a better pic of the macro-algae p[lease :)

    FWIW micro-algae is phytoplankton, macro-algae is the seaweed like stuff as in your picture.
