Eheim 1262 or OR3500?

They are both great pumps. i give the edge to OR myself based on testing with a Kill A Watt meter, a 1" flow meter, a pressure gauge, valve and a few fittings. The OR draws slightly less power at the same flow rate as the Eheim, but not much. When the OR was less money a year or two ago it made the decision quite easy but now that they have increased in price dramatically its a tougher decision.
I am going to purchase an Octopus pump soon to see if it really is a clone OR, they appear to be exactly the same Hialea pump that Aquatic EcoSystems used to sell which is the same pump as the OR but for a lot less money.
