    actually the top one has more flow on it then the bottom one,,?
    no shrimp,just blue legged hermits,and a couple of snails.
    its a tough one,,lets hope the top"bigger" one lives.

    No fish? How old is your tank? Also please post up your latest test results for your params. That helps us go from here.

    If it gets really desperate, you can always cut the dying head off. HOWEVER, that is a LAST resort. Euphyllias IME are very hardy corals.

    it is a 35 gallon bow front,it is 1 year old in october.i have 3 percula clowns and 2 yellow wrass.cleanup crew of 2 snails and about 10 bluelegged hermit crabs.
    last test results -ph=7.8-8.0
    -ammonia=0ppm
    -nitrite=0ppm
    -nitrate=between 0ppm and 5.0
    -ca=420
    -po4=0.25
    i have lots of light,,this coral is at the top,,close to the lights.
    included a pic of entire tank.

    A couple more things, I have read these do not like too much or too little magnesium. I would pick up a test kit for that if you don't have one. There is no chance a clown is hosting it and stressing it out? Are there any signs of a brown jelly like substance? Did you light acclimate it properly? Other than that, I am out of ideas. My recommendation is to leave it alone and see if it recovers on its own.

    hi,i dont have a magneseium kit but ill get one tomorrow.i watch my tank a lot,have not seen any of the 3 clowns go near it.i acclimate everything using the drop method,usually 1 hr.i concur,lets leave it and cross fingers the rest of it lives.ty for all your help,,,Hans Saul
