I will check it out and see what its about. I have not had bad luck with my becket skimmer and feel the ease of use is simple and effective. The tank requires very little adjustment ever and is easy to clean. I will check it out. Prices on needle wheels just seem to be retarded latelly and they effectiveness seems to be just that also. Not saying they dont do the job just stating I hope they can keep up for a resonable price.

Then why are big tanks not running Bullet 1s?... I think they are streching it a bit, or that is for a light bio load. A swc 25A will habndle your tank and that is 6 something... a Super Reef 5000 will handle your tank and that is $625. Now are you also adding in the price of the pump with those skimmers and the power to run them?

I don't put a lot of faith in claims. I need numbers, and I have never seen numbers on how much air Becketts draw. Also, they talk about how efficient they are based on air draw, but that is not based on power use which is what efficiency is.

Seriously... plenty of NW will do just as good as what you have... but you already have what you have, it's just costing you power. And you electric bill isn't going to notice much difference compared to all the other things you are running.

I am not running a bulet 1 either I am saying rating for rating the bullet 1 is rated for what the other needle sheels are that are 1000 or 1500 needle wheels for the same ammount. I am saying for 1000 I can get a xl1 from pm rated for 750 gallons. I run a bullet2 on my system and its a good skimmer just want to go overboard now.

Yes I get the pump is more power but you are getting more air that is what the becket is supposed to be far superior right? I am not chaning from energy as this is what this comes down to but also effency of skimming. I would pay 5 more a month if it was doing that in difference I just was not sure if it is. I am saying on paper according to numbers it seems so as they claim 250 gallons for the model 400 and the pm bullet also does for there bullet2? so if you go to there model 3 or the xl1 you get 500-750 gallons right? the 400 series you discuss is still 250 gallons?
