electric blue hermit walking all over zoas

    I got my first coral a zoa rock yesterday and it appears the my electric blue hermit is obsessed with it walking all over it. what should I do?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    He is just eating all the little tasty algae and other detritus found on the new piece. He will probably do this for a day or so. This is what hermits do, hence the reason I am not too fond of them.

    I just put a bunch of zoa/ LPS frags in last night and my snails/ hermits did the same thing. I have never seen them actually hurt the coral at all and as Corailline mentioned they will stop after a day or 2.

    He's doing what you want him to do. Cleaning. Once he cleans it all up he should leave it alone.
