Hey guys, i know some have done this, can people please post up pics of how they have theirs set up? Need to clean up my mess of wires, and get rid of all the power strips!

And i want to have 2 timers with 2 plugs each. Have a t5 4 bulb and getting a taotronics, so want the blues to come on at 10, then the other to come on an hour later. So need 4 plugs on timers. and 1 more timer for my refugium light. Everything else i believe is just always on.

My friend is an electrician so he is going to help me wire it up. Just looking for clean ways to do it.
    Thanks guys!

Well if you find a way let me know.LOL It is actually a very hard thing to do as I assume you have already figured out.The problem with tidying up wires is you invariably will need to remove pumps from time to time for cleaning so I would suggest instead of using zipties to bundle wires you may want to consider using bread ties instead. It is much easier to remove some pieces of equipment for routine maintenance without having to cut everything apart to do so. I like to ziptie things that are rarely unpluged in my system such as lighting and then use the breadties for pumps. It is also very important to keep plugs up off the bottom of your stand in case you ever have a leak.8)Good luck!!

    Light 3 + Timer = 1 outlet
    Light 4 + Timer = 1 outlet
    Protein skimmer = 1/2 outlet
    Return pump 1 = 1/2 outlet
    Return pump 2 = 1/2 outlet
    Fuge Light = 1/2 outlet
    Koralia 1 = 1/2 outlet
    Koralia 2 = 1/2 outlet

Ya that sounds good, those seem to work really well. I have read about a few people using them. Just be sure not to overload them of course and the use of a GFCI is strongly encouraged. Melev himself would be able to help you even more. He is an incredible DIY'er!

I use a 4 plug dj switch on my set up, i have my return, skimmer, evo 750, and koralia 240(thats in sump) on it. so i can flip those off with ease. Everything i else i can turn off with the either the aqua illumination controller and mp10 controller.

It really nice being able to flip things off without struggling to find the right power cord to unplug.
