So I have my stand full of equipment but I don't want to run my controllers/power bars ect in the stand so I built a electrical stand to house all components which is where I have my EB8 for my apex. question is most of the equipment located in my aquarium stand wont reach the EB8 in the cabinet. So my question is can I run a 4ft extension cord from each outlet on the EB8 to the aquarium stand to plug into all equipment? My Vortech and Radion are the only pieces that will reach. So it would be 6x 4ft extension cords. Plus this would make my wire management more cleaner. Input please?

    Kyle.

I don't see any issues with that. I would recommend to have some sort of drip loop before the extension cord still, just in case.

And don't buy cheap, lightweight gauge cords for pieces of equipment which can draw a fair amount of current.

Depending on the draw...you could run 1 cord with a multi plugin head on it...so less cords..but if they are on timers then guess that's not an option.

Yah I was going to get heavy duty, for sure! Thanks

I need singles as they are getting plugged into separate outlets. Thanks though.
