    my next bucket thread will probably be "how to hook up a computer to have different audio outlets" any chance you guys know about that too? I would love to play Pandora but have two channels, one on IE and one on Firefox, that could play two stations one for me, and one for an another person in another room....that would be cool. I think it is time to get into the new technological home with everything a click away. I was looking at blue ray and all that, but I was thinking outdated by digital everything in a few years....

    If you use Windows 7, I think that's possible.

    i dont believe in all that bill gates hype. 20 years later, microsoft word still crashes, my computer is 1200 times bigger and runs about the same speed...lol...ahha

    if your running linux, ubuntu has ripping software in the repository you can download I think.

    i used to run ubuntu, and then later kubuntu, but moved away from it

    most of the gnu programs i like, I can run on windows, I have open office, P-Zip, GIMP etc..all GNU, but not in linux.

    If Word just crashes, then OpenOffice is a total clusterpile of horrible coding....

    Also, your computer does 50x the number of things, and the majority (aka all) of your problems are still caused by device drivers and third party software interacting in weird ways and messing things up. Windows itself really ain't too bad around now.
