Too much flow and light? Have you tried moving it to other locations to see if that helps?

Flow I don't think. I really don't have any powerheads on my tank because I have corals that require little flow. And well my hang in filter does the job.

Can there be To much light? It's been there for 1-2 months and it's only today and yesterday that its been doing this. ( it has some type of sponge thing attached to it's side could it be that? although it's been there since I got the coral.

Elegance corals are like that, especially the indo ones. The Aussie elegance corals don't have this issue.

Lots of research has been done about elegance corals and their rapid demise after they have been doing fine in home reefs. I think Eric Bourneman did/ is doing the research. Doa quick search and you will see what I mean.
