    ok guys. here are a couple of pics of my elegance that was such a trooper through my tank crash. Sorry about the algae in the pic. I haven't really been worried about the algae on the glass up to this point.

    Looks good. Surprising to have an elegance survive a crash.

    Well upon doing some of my research I have found that this elegance is most likely from australia where the hjealthy specimens are coming from. The indonesian elegance rarely survives in the home aquarium. It has really high mortality rates for some reason, even in the best (or worst) tank conditionsl.

    It certainly looks like an Australian one , I have one in my tank that I have had for 2 years. I will post some pics soon. The Australian elegances are a very hardy coral in captivity.

    i agree i have one thats australian and it looks just like that one .there great a little pricey but not more so than going through 10 indo elegances to get one to live.

    wow thats a really nice coral - def one of my favourites and also one out of my price range! :(

    Very nice.

    How big to you expect it to get?

    Have had problem with "monster" anemones in past. :-/
