Now that's a lucky starfish. We once had a sea hare that was unfortunate enough to run into our elegance. It was half swallowed by the time I pulled it out and about a half hour later, it wandered right back into the coral.

Too much babble for me. Looks like RC people ran him off there and now he has left MD forum with no answers. I seen the pic of the shrimp in the elegance, mine must be a different species because as soon as something touches it, it starts to close up on it.
    Thanks for the link!

To bad he could not figure how he wiped his own 750 a couple of yrs ago... They never can give a answer for their on issues LOL .. Maybe we would find more use from a article about what they don't Know .

I have the Sony DSC-F717 . Still learning all the buttons it has, and I'm getting better with it on the tank shots.

Man Otty I missed this one. Good thing the linkia was able to get away. Did you notice any damage to the star later that day?

Your linkia looks to be very healthy from the pictures. Most people cannot keep these long term due to lack of food for the star.

I've been wanting to get one since my tank has aged a bit...

Something tells me this will go the way of the skimmate research project and the RTN explained project. I've been waiting to here Eric defend these papers for sometime now.

Eric did recieve money and supplies for all those projects and has never come up with the results. At MACNA this year he was supposed to present the RTN paper but he didn't scedule a defense in time and was uneasy about presenting an undefended paper.

I didn't notice any damage to the star but he crosses the tank towards the back now instead of the front where the elegance is. I hope there is enough rock in the tank that will keep him alive for a while.
