Up until yesterday my Elegance was looking great now it looks stressed for some reason. Params are 1.026-1.27, Ph is 8.0-8.2, Alk is 7-8, Calcium 460-480, No nitrate or measureable phosphate, I use the API liquid. I am running Chemi Pure Elite inthe HOB Aqua Clear 50. Temp is 77-78. Bulbs are 2 months old and no other changes.

What about MG? The alk is pretty low, I would try getting that up first

do you have any soft corals near it or up current from it? my frogspawn started to not look so hot, so I moved it away from my leather and it looks like it did before. Hope it just something small, looks like a really nice piece.

Depends on where they are collected. Indonesian have low survivability and Australian have high survivability.

Plus it depends on how they are shipped. Takes about 20min sometimes to get them ready for shipment. Mine has doubled in the last year I have had it. They need pristine water conditions.
Mine looks like that when I need to change the carbon in my reactor. Are you running any in your system??

Yes I am running Chemi Pure Elite in my HOB Aqua Clear. I just changed it about the same time as the Elegance not looking good. I have finger leathers above it but the Elegance was looking good for at least 4 months. Could changing the Chemi Pure have done anything? I use kalk in my top off water which I add morning and night before the lights come on. Occasional Reef Builder and Buffer for Alk. My Calcium is a little high so I might reduce the amount of kalk I add. I am doing now 1/2 teaspoon a day to about 2/3 gallon of water and pour in half in morning and half at night. I have no sump

NO I change the carbon every month. Before 2 months ago I was just using some ferric oxide for phosphate in the HOB.
