    Need some urgent advice, got up this morning and noticed my frogspawn coral had fallen from its secure perch(well thought it was secure) and fallen straight on top of my beautiful elegance coral, now the elegance is shrivelled up and looked to have brown jelly already :-(, im proper gutted ,it could of been lieing there all night, whats the best thing to do, i dont want to loose this coral, thanks alot

    Pull it off, iodine dip them both, and check to see that there's no tears in their tissue.

    Thanks for the reply, is it best to iodine dip them sooner the better, and should i do it for a few days?

    sooner the better. you only dip for a few minutes... Once should be sufficient I would think.

    +1 on the Iodine Dip...
    If you see any brown jelly ie. necrotic tissue, you can use airline tubing to siphon off the dead/necrotic tissue and give the coral a bath with an Iodine solution like TM Pro Coral Cure or similar product. The iodine will act as an antiseptic and hopefully kill prevent the spread of the tissue necrosis.

    only thing i could buy by me was red sea iodine(contains potassium iodide)
    is this any good and how many drops vs tank water should i use

    dip done, 40 drops to 1 gallon of water for 10 mins...
