Elephant Skin or no?

    So I bought this piece for 15 dollars figuring it was a good deal and thinking it was Elephant Skin. After looking this up Pachyseris Coral on Dr Foster and Smith I realize it looks nothing like it(Elephant Skin). It does not grow upward or outward, not yet anyway. The ridges look similar in color as the pic from F&S but it doesnt seem to grow like that. It has no visible polyps either. Mine was a 6x4 inch frag that had grown completely around a flat rock so I fragged it into two smaller ones. Any guesses?
    The little black wholes are barnacles BTW. lol
