I've started to get annoyed researching this because the post are so mixed. I have a Hagen and hate having the colors so close. 0.0, 0.1 and 0.3 is the same color and 0.0, 0.3 is the same for nitrites. I don't get to tell if any of the stuff is rising to a dangerous point until it's already there. What are your experiences with those kits including accuracy, easy to read and personal bad and personal good experiences. I have a reef so I need it all so I hate buying the single tests.

Salifert has a good, long-standing reputation. The newer Red Sea kits have gotten good feedback as well.

I use Redsea and I think it's great. It's a titration test kit.

It honestly all depends what your budget is to be honest, I use API for Nitrates and Red Sea for (Calcium & Mag) soon to be (Iron, Iodide & Potassium). Lastly I also use Hanna for Phosphate & Alkalinity.

Red Sea makes a fantastic kit for Reefers, they are built well and easy to use. Also you can purchase refills, this will save you $ down the road.

Here are some great kits to consider:
Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro Ca/Alk/Mg Multi Test Kit
    Hanna Instruments Checker Colorimeter
Red Sea Algae Control Multi NO3/PO4 Test Kit

I used Red Sea Pro for CA, Mag, Alk, and nitrate, API for pH Alk and nitrate( quicker test and used as a backup to confirm accuracy of my RedSea) and just ordered a hanna checker for phosphates

I only test a couple things.

biweekly I test Alk using Hanna checker or Lamotte (the Lamotte is the best titration alk test I have used. Lab grade accuracy)
quartery I test Mag using Elos
semi yearly I test Potassium using Elos.
When I check phosphate I use Hanna colorimeter

From the sounds and looks at it getting everything together; ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, mag, iron, calcium is just a dream?

Most people just do the big three (Ca, Mag & Alk) but it all depends on what you want to keep IMO.

Also one thing I should mention when you are placing your order make sure to get a Refractometer and 35PPT solution.

Refractometer for reading salinity w/ Free Calibration fluid - Bulk Reef Supply

This is a fantastic suggestion that can not be to strongly emphasized.

    Seachem has good kits also.
