wow that had to be a huge crab

ok i wasn't sure, i just thought once something dies it causes the parameters to spike and potentially lead to a crashing. Glad that's not the case with the emerald

    i'll try that

Make sure you use a flashlight with red saran wrap on it or some sort of red filter...aquatic life can't see red so it makes night time viewing all that better. You'll see so much life!!

that's what he did as soon as i dropped him in, went under a rock and started pushing out the sand, then at some point he went onto his back and that's the last i've seen him, i just really hope he gets the bubble algae before it spreads like crazy, it's already popped up in a few areas on different rocks.

lol he just appeared! i saw something moving on the bottom of a rock, and tit's him! lol he's upsidedown and moving his claws, lol it's making the fish swim away. Guess he knew i was talking about him

so cool to see this guy eat, especially with him being upside down, i tried to take a pic but then i must of scared him and he went back under the rock

I was in Home Depot last week and they had a multipac of LED flashlights for $14 that included a headlamp with a red LED perfect for scoping a tank in the dark :)
