I was told they are reef safe and have seen them in many tanks at one of he LFS. Today this little rascal has been flipping my unglued frags. I know i should glue them down but is this normal behavior? he took my two Yuma frags and had them flipped upside down I wanted to flush the little nuisance but i like him too much lol.

Normal, it is searching for food and found it underneath your plugs. Glue them down. IME they are coral safe.

I don't know if they are safe, my buddy had two just how i did =( & he would pick at his leathers or the same thing flip them upside down. Also ripping them off while glued and taking them to the back of the tank. He took them out after being patient the first 4 times

Interesting... I'll keep my eye on him. Thats the last thing I want, finding my corals moved or ripped.

Since I posted this thread I have moved my new zoos and my new yuma 4 times! he was picking at the heads of the zoos. I have the moonlights on so they glow nicely then i noticed that they stopped glowing... the crab pulls them away from the LR and is picking at them... lol wth! I might go to the 24hr walmart to get some glue!

sounds like you definitely have a rogue emerald on your hands. funny how from creature to creature they can be so different and have such various personality traits. so hence the never ending forums and questions regarding livestock...gotta love this hobby!

yup... i mean he wasn't tearing at it... but it bothered me seeing how he would move the frag around, flip it, then pick around the head of the zoo. lol I moved the zoo again and haven't seen him since. THis is the first time he's ever done that.

Either really super duty glue, or they might need a new home. =l
