Emereld Green Crabs

Can you put 2 of these in the same tank? Ive herd that it wasn't a good idea

 

I have about 6-8 emerald crabs. They are both in my refugium and main tank. I haven't had a problem with them yet, they seem to keep to themselves. I even have a sally lightfoot in the show tank, and she just chills on her own.

 

I also had 5 in there...I've lost 2 so far...one all by itself...

and the other, well there was a conspiracy dealing with imported cleaning products and a dirty piece of fake coral.....any hoo, we lost 2 and now still have 3.


but there not very impressive little things. they move around and all, but dont seem to do much...compared to the 10 Turbo snails that left trails of clean white rock everywhere they went!!

Green emerald crabs are supposed to be very good for getting rid of bubble algae. I have a small amount of bubble algae starting in my new tank and am going to get some emeralds just for that purpose!!

I have the one & some bubble Algae, But he walks right over the bubble algae, I guess no one told him that it is his favorite, That's why
I wanted to get another,
What does the sally lightfoot do for your tank?
