    Just noticed that my butterfly fish has Ich real bad and now my yellow tang has a tiny bit of it I have a 29g tank that Im not using for anything else so Im currently running the RODI unit to make water to put in the QT and perform Hyposalinity the thing is do I have to cycle the QT tank Im going to put a power head in there for surface agitation and a heater but I dont have a filter for it and of course Im leaving it bare no rock no substrate. Help me out please.

    Siphon water from display tank into the 29 gallon qt and replace what you remove from the display with mixed rodi water. I have lost 3 clowns to ich in the last few weeks, so my treatment wasn't effective. Hopefully someone else can give you sound treatment advice.
