    Can i get an emperor angel and keep it in my tank for its lifetime. Its the same dimensions as a 40 breeder just taller so its 55 gallons. I also could get a california stingray but i know that it could live in my tank forever

    An emperor gets to about 15" and needs a 5 foot long tank at least. The stingray would be too big from the start.

    The sting ray only gets 6 inches in diameter fully grown
