Any owners have experience with one in a reef/invert aquarium? I really like the color change transition it takes from the juvenile to an adult.

People I have known have had mixed success with them. Some do great, some don't... but most people I know who have them have success. What size tank? It is considered reef compatible but with extreme caution, (I wouldn't risk it if you have a well established reef tank)

I dont own one but was looking into one. My research concluded that they are generally reef safe but not compatible with clams (I have two) so sadly I had to pass on this beautiful fish. If you dont have any clams and at least a 125g tank I say go for it

It all Depends on your corals. LFS I would say no an emperor will eat them. Softies maybe no as well. SPS you have a better chance of them not getting bothered.
I have one in my tank with mainly SPS corals and never had an issue.

I ordered one offline from Petco yesterday. It'll be here on Friday. 112 gallons btw. Thanks for the feedback.

I wouldn't put an emporator in a reef tank ever. They will eat all of your corals most likely. They don't know which corals are called softies, LPS, or SPS by hobbyists. They might leave one type of coral alone for a couple of years but eventually they'll eat that one too.

The changeover to adulthood for angels is just like it is for humans. We go through a period where our arms and legs have outgrown our bodies, we have acne, and generally look like a dork. They do this too. If you're not giving them sufficient nutrition during this time, they get "stuck" and look like a dork for the whole rest of their lives. If you don't want a "stuck" angel, they need sponge in their diet as well as a large variety of both algae and meat-based foods. At least 3 times a week, their food should be soaked in vitamins and HUFA's.

There are so many new food out now, I do not think it should be an issue.
I feed Spectrum Pellets, Frozen Mysis, Sometimes Angel & ButterFly Formula, other time any meat formula. I also add Selcon to the food once or twice a week.
