Well, it is the end of my 6 line wrasse. I came out into the room and found it laying on the floor. Don't have a clue why it decided to become a jumper.

sorry for your loss, had multiple issues with mine jumping all wrasses do it though from my experience

mine has ended up in the back of my nano on several occasions and sometimes when I'm in the room he just jumps up and hits the lid randomly for no apparent reason

I have a couple of tangs, clowns and green chromis. Nothing that I ever saw bothering the wrasse.

that sucks, I love my sixline. From my knowledge and research, fish jump because they don't like where they are at for whatever reason. I had a yellow watchman jump when he was in the quarantine tank and he died too. I love my sixline and hope he never jumps

Thats a real bummer it is like fish suicide they should have a hot line where they can call in.

But joking aside I hate to see my fish dead and really feal for you. I too worrie about my fire gobie jumping out, but he has his home in his rock. Maybe he didn't have a place where he felt safe.

No, none of those seem to be a problem. Just a case of getting spooked at night maybe.

We have a spawning pair of six line that jump every day, together. We do not have a lid on the tank but thus far have not had a problem. So sorry about your loss.
