    ok cool! you will love the goby. mine has never eaten any of it's tankmate's, though I have seen it take a snails and spit it out of it's mouth...I think it was stopping progress on a tunnel.... :lol: and yeah I like this pic better :)

    lol thats good than, the snail should have paid attention to where the goby was going... :)

    exactly I've got some pics somewhere of him spitting.. it's awesome to watch and I can "pet" mine. he comes to the top and I'll put my finger in and he rubs on it I can also take my finger on the glass and either point to where food is or show him which way to go and he follows my finger! I did have to pull him out of a powerhead intake a few weeks ago. I think what freaked him out was the fact that he was stuck and not me grabbing hold of him.

    I put an end on it, which I should have done in the first place........he's fine now and has probably long forgotten about the powerhead "trauma". He loves to swim circles around my tunze, which scares me, since it has the little openings that look like a goby's tail could fit perfectly into.....so far so good lol I've had this guy since my tanks inception in 2001(?2) He was about an inch long and I watched him go thru the stages of stripes changing directions and colors. pretty cool!
