I have had and engineering goby for about three years. I am not sure how big it is as he is very shy and never see all of it. I would assume about eight inches. With that said, I am getting another one today. He is approx four or five inches. I dont think it will be a problem to put them together in my 220.

If you see any issues with this, please advise...

Will an engineering goby pair with a pistol shrimp?

I have two of them. They are awesome. I don't think you'll have any issues. Mine generally go to work at night after lights out.

I'm currently only have one Goby. Was wondering if my pistol shrimp would be an issue?

They may eat the shrimp or at least try.It is usually best to add them in groups but your tank should be big enough for them to work it out.

No issues so far. On a side note I saw my hi fin today. Only seen it twice since I've added it. I am pretty confident it will pair with my shrimp and leave the engineer alone.
