i just set up my nano tank with a condy anem, one percula clown, and a small snowflake eel. I intend on transfering everything into my seventy five gal in a few months. I purchased the condy about a week ago, and he looks like hes doing well.
I have a two bulb fixture with 4 built in led lights. One 14 wat 10 kk daytime bulb, and one 14 wat actinic 03. I feed the anem smal pieces of fresh shrimp every 2 days. I woke up today and my anem was shriveled up expelling waste from itself. I thought it was dieng, but i turned the light on, came back down and it was opened bigger then i had ever seen it. Is this sufficient lighting to support mushroom polyps? what does a healthy condy anem look like?

i wouldnt keep any nem in a tank without at least a 150 halide or a comparable t5 fixture or led fixture..maybe maybe could you get away with 70w halide

how big is your tank and how long has it been set up and what are your water params and where is it placed..depending on the tank size you might have be skating on thin ice with enough lighting but condys get huge, mine on a hungry day gets a little smaller than a dinner plate, and the size of a softball or a little more when its just chilling..and i have only had it a few months and has doubled if not more since

the tank is a fifteen gal. about 12 inches deep, and the anem is right on the floor in the sand. he hasnt fixed himself, or moved to much from where i placed him originally. He shrivelled up again today and now hes wide open. Should i leave the blue actinic light on as well as the regular light during the day? theres some shots of both lights...
Does he look healthy to you?
I have been feeding him small pieces of fresh raw shrimp, is that cool? and how often should it eat?

well your tank is too small..it will outgrow it very soon..they are one of if not the largest nems..its look somewhat healthy, when it 100% healthy it should have a purple mouth area, smokey white tan tentacles at the bottom and should get more purple towards the ends and should have purple/pink tips..

i still think you need more light, but it may work out..

if it were me i would take it back to the fish store and at least get a smaller species of nems, like a bubble tip, but your tank is not large enough to properly house a nem..plus what are those red rocks..
