    I actually have their 36" version over my 46BF. The tank was intended to be a FOWLR, which is why I bought a cheap light for it. However, I currently have Xenia & Kenya Tree that I took out of my reef tank, and they are doing just fine under that light (both have been growing/spreading like weeds). I would say it is fine for any lower light coral. You can always upgrade later if you want higher lighting corals.
