hey i have a 40 breeder setup and building a 20-25 gallon sump and was wondering if a aquac remora skimmer with a mj1200 would be enough for this tank? i have the remora setup on a 72bowfront with a 15 gallon sump right now and its working good i think (empty it every 2 weeks)
so... is an aquac remora enough for roughly 70 gallons of water (40b + 25sump + water in pipes/overflow)?

well, what size Remora(or skimmer in general)? Your skimmer should be rated at 1.5-2x your total volume.

IMO, yes it should. I ran one on a 55 with a 20 gallon sump. They are rated up to 75 gallons I believe. (It's the HOB Remora right?)

-no the 72 is a seperate system
-its a normal hob (not pro) remora

also would i be able to put the remora in the sump like the urchin? i would build a custom baseplace and stand for it if i did
