** UPdate, grocery shopping today, checked 2 stores Pharmacy section.

Wally World- had the best deal

2 lb. container- 88 cents! Their 4 lb was actually more per lb. than the 2lb.!

I checked a few params. again today: (last check was 2 days ago.)
    Ca+- 380
    Mg- 1260
    Kh- 8
Nitrate and Phos not detected on my API- I know- not that sensative- wel I know they're not THAT high!
** Which from what I've recently, is not too bad. Yes they Ca+ and Mg both slightly low, but not by much!
Since I've been dosing the last few weeks, you should see the growth rings on my MOnti Caps now! I'm sure the others are growing too, but it's so obvious on the plating montis- it's as if you can see them growing!

Doing a 20g WC later today- 15- 18% of my TWV- total water volume

I'm glad I caught this before I lost any coral! They're even happier now the operator got the params together!

    Old thread:
Like the thread title says, and if you use the Epson Salts-
    -do you like it?
    - how do you dose it?

    TIA

I have done it, and it works. I mixed it in a 1 gallon jug, then added it into my top off jug, and let it drip into my sump slowly. Just keep an eye on your salinity, as it IS salt.

    The Robman- Thanks!

My last TX home was in Pearland.

Just today I heard of a job I'd like to get , back in Galveston- I used to live there too! Haven't told the wife I was interested in it yet!

I think he soaks their fins in it, like people soak their feet in it!

I have used it and it worked fine. 1/2 of BRS mag solution is epsom salts. You have to use a lot of it to keep your mag up though.

lol... I used it last year during a tank crash to save a few lonely fish with velvet and bacterial infections, they wouldn't touch food or anything. day or so after they ate and after doses of it and waterchanges ... they healed up. Recently had to use it for velvet and it fixed all the fish up and whipped them back into hunger mode... Not sure if its luck or fate or if the stuff really works. Should I sniff it and find out? Jk ;)
