Here is one for ya. I just came home with a zoo rock.......Luna, I will post pics later......worry not. I also came home with an adult coris wrasse. But I digress.............

Within the zoo colony is a lone apthasia. How would you get rid of that one pesky dude among many cool cats without damaging the good guys?

    TIA John.

A Peppermint Shrimp would take care of the aptasia and leave the zoas alone.

I had 3 peppermint shrimp, and none would touch the aiptasia. Also, you run the risk of getting a camel shrimp, which may eat your zoa's ;)
Trust me dude, just spend the 5 bucks on some juice and be done with it. Or go cheaper and make your own. All it is is really thickly mixed kalkwasser.

OK, that is what I was thinking. Just needed confirmation. I was a little concerned about proximity, but a thin needle would nail it pretty good. Thanks guys. John.

Just updating an old thread.....I mixed some Kalk with RO water, put it in a small bottle, drew it up in a syringe and injected the only remaining aiptasia I could see in the tank (It was in the midst of a bunch of Zoas.

It worked great. Nothing died except the aiptasia.

I had recently cracked an aiptasia with the aiptasiaX. Directly below the aiptasia was a large zoa colony. I didn't even think anything of it til' a large chunk(s) of the x fell into a few of the zoas that had quickly closed up. Had me a tiny bit worried. No worries though. Nothing happened.
