I have used each of the hang on skimmers. Nothing Fancy, but they do thier job WELL. Within a day of being put on tank, they started pulling skimmate. My only problem is the customer service.....one time they were having a impeller probs, they have since fixed them, and they sent me one right out. On another occasion, I asked to order a spare part and could not get a return email or phone call after several attempts. But long story short, they are cheap pricewise, and they do skim very nicely right out of the box. overall I would recommend them

They're a Decent "budget" skimmer. You get what you pay for. I had some slight issues with mine right out of the box after a one month backorder wait. It leaked and the plastic hang-on attachment broke clean away from the skimmer body.

If you have the money, IMO I'd look elsewhere. Reef octopus has some affordable hang-on options.

its almost 100% acrylic? it wont be hooked up for another week because i have sand coming in tommorow night and probly a sandstorm for a few days so all filters are going to stay off other than the power head

I have a psk 100h. I love it when I use it and really believe eshopps get a bad rap from people. It out performed my reef-octo 1000h for sure.

If they get a bad rap from people I'm sure it isn't without cause. My above explanation is "my" personal experience with the product. Not everyone will have these results obviously, but they're there to help prospective buyers make a decision.
