3reef Sponsor Eshopps has a cool new probe holder with magnet mounts coming out this June for a great price of less than $30 bucks. Beyond the uncluttered simplicity of these holders, what I particularly liked about them is that the magnets were the right strength - strong enough to hold, but easy enough to move around the sump. Another cool and helpful item for hobbyists from Eschopps - coming soon!

Wow thats neat Matt. looks like everyone is moving away from suction cups and going to magnets.

awesome. so they really did listen when we said we needed a way to mount those easier in a sump :) (recall they were asking alot about the 'perfect' commercial sump and we all stated it needed to have a built in probe holder)

I do remember that actually. Some pretty good ideas in that thread. Glad they went this way with it, instead of a hard mount one in their sump. This allows for a much broader customer base. Lord knows I want one.

Just what I need for my new sump! I wonder when they will be available?

Nice! I just throw mine in the baffles of my sump though, with no ill effects.

Less than $30 = $29.99 plus shipping and handling, or $19.99 plus shipping and handling = less than $30? ;D

    Reread 1st post. :)

TBD, but I believe it is a few to several bucks short of $30 prior to any shipping charges.

Very good. Do you know what the diameter of the holes are? The Apex temp probe is slightly larger at the tip and wider overall as it's weighted - and may not fit in a standard probe hole.

Good question. I'll ask Louie at Eshopps and report back.
