    also (perhaps i should bring this up in a different thread) is there a flow rate that probes work best in? I've see these little jar-like containers for the heads of the probes to be placed in because the makers claim this provides the best flow for probes.. i just have my pinpoint dangle in the sump.

    hi, this is a good question. After reading your question, we conducted more test results. the final result is it doesn't have any effect to probe reading. Mainly is because the design of the probe holder with location. There's a great distance between the magnet and the location where the probe is.
